Telemedicine

Naturopathic care from home

Many naturopathic visits don't need to happen in person. Natura offers secure video visits through [Jane](https://natura.janeapp.com/) for first appointments and follow-ups, for adults and children, at the same prices as in-clinic visits. Dr. Jayden Dobson, ND sees patients by virtual visit only; Dr. Erin Esau, ND sees patients both virtually and in person.

What still needs the clinic

Acupuncture, any in-clinic therapies and hands-on physical exams happen in person with Dr. Erin Esau, ND at 9B-90 Brandt Street. Many people mix the two: an in-person first visit, then virtual follow-ups. Visits with Dr. Jayden Dobson, ND are always virtual.

Insurance plans that cover naturopathic visits usually cover virtual visits the same way, but check your plan. See fees and insurance for how receipts work.

Virtual visits: your questions

Still unsure?

Call the front desk and we'll help you decide which appointment to book, and we can often find a place to fit you in that may not be visible in online booking.

All questions

Can my first visit be virtual?

Yes. Virtual initial visits are 60 to 90 minutes. If a physical exam is needed, part of your care will be in person with Dr. Erin Esau, ND.

Do I need to live in Manitoba?

Naturopathic doctors are licensed by province, so virtual visits are generally for people located in Manitoba at the time of the visit. Call the clinic if you're unsure.
