Testing ordered by a naturopathic doctor is not covered by MB Health. Depending on the test, it may be paid at the clinic or to the lab directly. Prices vary widely depending on what's tested, but standard blood testing generally starts around $75. See lab testing with a naturopathic doctor in Manitoba.
Questions
Insurance and payment
Still unsure?
Call the front desk and we'll help you decide which appointment to book, and we can often find a place to fit you in that may not be visible in online booking.
Do you direct bill insurance?
No. You pay at the end of your visit, and we give you a receipt to submit to your insurer for reimbursement.
Does Manitoba Health cover naturopathic care?
No. Manitoba Health doesn't cover naturopathic visits, and it doesn't cover testing ordered by a naturopathic doctor, so you pay the lab directly. Many private extended health plans do cover naturopathy. Read is naturopathy covered in Manitoba?
How much does testing cost?
It depends on what's tested, since each lab test has its own fee. Prices vary widely depending on what's tested, but generally start around $75. Your ND will tell you the cost before ordering.
Can I claim pelvic floor therapy as physiotherapy?
Probably not. Taryn is a registered nurse, not a physiotherapist, so check whether your plan covers her services under another category. Health care spending accounts cover these visits.
Why aren't all prices listed?
Acupuncture visits are usually 30 minutes, for $100. Fees for in-clinic therapies such as IV nutrient therapy and injections are given at your assessment. Call 204-515-6283 to ask about any fee.
