Natura is an integrative clinic where naturopathic doctors work alongside a pelvic floor therapist, an exercise physiologist and a counsellor. So when your health doesn't fit neatly in one box, your care doesn't have to either.

Do I need a referral to see a naturopathic doctor?
No. Anyone can book directly, online through Jane (external site) or by calling 204-515-6283. Your ND will work alongside your family doctor rather than replace them.
Is naturopathic care covered by insurance?
Many extended health plans cover naturopathic visits. We don't direct bill: you pay at your visit and submit the receipt to your insurer. Manitoba Health doesn't cover naturopathic care. See fees and insurance.
How long is the first visit?
A first naturopathic visit is 60 to 90 minutes. In a two-part visit, you spend up to 60 minutes with a registered nurse, then 30 minutes with the naturopathic doctor. Follow-ups are usually 30 or 45 minutes. Pelvic floor visits are 50 minutes and exercise physiology first visits are 60 minutes.
Can a naturopathic doctor order testing in Manitoba?
Yes. NDs can order testing, but Manitoba Health doesn't cover tests ordered by an ND, so you pay the lab directly. Prices vary widely depending on what's tested, but generally start around $75. More on testing.
Do you see children?
Yes. Kids' visits for anyone 15 and younger are 15, 30 or 45 minutes, at lower pricing. See children's naturopathic care.
