Facial rejuvenation acupuncture

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture places very fine needles in the face and at a few points on the body, during a 45-minute session with Dr. Erin Esau, ND. It costs $180. Your first session starts with a conversation about your goals and health history to decide whether it's suitable for you.

How it works

  1. 01

    Talk it through

Your goals, skin history and general health, and whether it's suitable for you.

  2. 02

    The session

Fine needles in the face and body while you rest for about 45 minutes.

  3. 03

    A series

Most people plan a course of sessions; how many is discussed with you.

What to expect

Sessions start with a short check-in, then very fine, single-use needles are placed in the face and at a few points on the body. You rest with the needles in place for the rest of the session. Small bruises are possible, so avoid booking the day before a big event.

Facial acupuncture: your questions

Still unsure?

Call the front desk and we'll help you decide which appointment to book, and we can often find a place to fit you in that may not be visible in online booking.

All questions

Is facial acupuncture covered by insurance?

Cosmetic treatments usually aren't covered by extended health plans, but check your own plan. Natura doesn't direct bill; you pay at the visit and can submit the receipt yourself.

Who shouldn't have facial acupuncture?

Talk to your practitioner first if you're pregnant, take blood thinners, bruise easily, are prone to migraines, or have active skin infections or recent cosmetic procedures on your face.
